What to eat in Paris

파리에서 뭐먹을까~

1.  Sandwiches are always a safe choice. 

- we never once came across a sandwich that wasn't good, because the bread itself is so amazingly fresh 

- 샌드위치로 끼니를 참 많이 때웠는데 한번도 맛없었던 적이 없어요. 빵 자체가 워낙 맛있어서 그런 것 같아요.

2. Go to a Boulangerie to buy bread, and eat lots of them

- Boulangerie means the bread is baked there. 

- 빵을 사려면 Boulangerie로 가세요. 그곳에서 직접 빵을 굽는 곳입니다. 불런제리라고 써져있지 않은곳은 다른데서 사와서 파는거레요. 빵이 너무 맛있으니 많이 드세요!

3. Go to a locally popular restaurant. 

- Whenever we searched reviews and trusted Yelp TripAdvisor's highest ratings, we had a mediocre meal. When we trusted our instinct and went into a local restaurant, away from the main attraction, it was a blasting success. I usually high emphasize researching but not this time.* Get out of the most crowded places, and when you see local people lined up for a restaurant, that's the best one! 

- 보통은 리서치 하고 리뷰보고 찾아가는 것을 중요하게 여기지만 파리는 달랐어요. Yelp나 TripAdvisor 리뷰보고 찾아간 곳들은 다 그냥 보통이였고, 로컬 사람들이 많은 집에 눈치보고 들어간곳은 다 맛있었어요. 관광지에서 벗어나, 조금 한적한 곳인데 로컬 파리지엥들이 바글바글하다면 시도해 보세요!

Salmon tartar, also from a Brasserie we randomly walked into while walking on St. Martin Canal

세인트 마틴 운하를 따라 걷다가 사람 많은 것을 보고 들어간 곳이였는데 전체적으로 다 맛있었어요.

이건 연어 육회같은건데 아주 살짝 스모크 향이 나고 짜지도 느끼하지도않고 너무 맛났어요.

Quiche. Restaurent's sold them for around 9 Euros, Also sold in local bakery for 3€

We also ate a chicken dish from here that we forgot to take a picture of.

Recommend this place, if you happen to come across it. Good ambience too.

키시는 레스토랑에서 9유로정도로 팔고 있었고, 빵집에서는 3유로 정도로 살수 있었음.

토마토 치즈 넣은 서양식 계란찜 파이같은 맛. 먹고나면 든든해요.

또 치킨 메인 디시도 먹었는데 찍어놓질 않았네요.

만약 세인트 마틴 운하나 리퍼블릭 역에 있다면 추천합니다. 먼데서 찾아갈만큼은 아닌데 맛있고 분위기도 좋아요.

Vietnamese Pho. It was quiet good.

베트남 쌀국수 맛있었어요

Vietnamese Fried rice with beef, fried rice had interesting tomato-y taste. I guess that's the French taste

베트남집에서 시킨건데 볶음밥이 신기한 토마토맛이 났어요. 프랑스식 베트남 요리는 이런건가봐요.

Eggplant salad, forgot the name of this place. Their course menu was quiet good.

여기 맛집이였는데, 이름과 주소를 잊어버렸네요

Escargot (snails) entree from "Monteguile" or something like that. They specializes in snails but it was no good.. had kinda fishy smell. The lamb and the beef from the course menues were good though. Do not recommend this place for it's price nor the snails.

리뷰 보고 찾아서 간 집인데, 맛이 없었어요!! 정작 달팽이 요리는 비린내가 나서 별루였구, 코스요리로 같이나온 스테이크나 양고기는 맛있었어요. 비싸구 딱히 추천하고 싶진 않네요

Macarons from Pierre Herme

I'm very picku about my macarons 

The chocolate flavours from Pierre Herme are SOOOOO GOOOD. The best chocolate filling inside the macarons

Other flavours were too sweet in my opinion.

여기 초코맛 마카롱들 진짜 진짜 맛있어요. 초코렛도 파는 전문점이여서 그런가봄.근데 비쌈

Creme Brulee - ate at a local brasserie and was just soso. Should have gotten it from a patisserie 

레스토랑에서 한번 먹어봤는데 이건 그냥 그랬음>_< 이런거 전문으로 하는 곳에서 먹을껄 그랬어요.
